Hey! I’m Jouss Carbajal
A Mexican entrepreneur based in Houston, USA. Mom, serial entrepreneur, speaker, and business consultant.

I’m on a mission to empower and inspire women to start and strengthen their entrepreneurial journeys and to launch their personal and professional dreams.
My expertise spans digital marketing, strategic relationship building, brand development, and identifying new business opportunities.
My Inspiration
Venturing beyond my comfort zone was the spark that ignited my dreams—and it’s what I want to ignite in you. Launching my own businesses, writing books, hosting a podcast, founding a digital marketing agency, consulting, and delivering talks have truly transformed my life.
Currently, I lead:
Girl Happen
Girl Happen PR & Digital
- Girl Happen Latina
Kipitbrand.com (a brand of accessories designed for students and entrepreneurs)
“Quita el Modo Avión” (Take Off Airplane Mode): a movement supporting individuals to reach their full potential through a book, podcast, online courses, and workshops.
I’m the author of two books—Quita el Modo Avión and Abraza tus Miedos y Despega—and I’m working on a third about productivity while also offering business coaching for women in my community.
“Being a Digital Rockstar means shining in the digital world by doing what everyone does—but in a way that no one else does.”
-Jouss
From a young age, I recognized that economic independence is the cornerstone of freedom for women. That realization led me to create Girl Happen, a platform dedicated to fostering female entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

2025
Launched Girl Happen Latina, a community designed to elevate and connect Latina entrepreneurs. Expanded Girl Happen Digital by integrating public relations services—because the truth is, PR is a natural extension of who I am, and it’s something I do exceptionally well. This year, I was also honored—for the third time—as Woman of the Year, this time in the United States, presented by Houston Council Member Mario Castillo and the Binational Ecuadorian American Chamber of Commerce.

Currently, I’m working on a special book where my children are the co-authors and I serve as their editor. This book is designed to help kids understand entrepreneurship, creativity, and how to share their ideas with the world—safely and confidently.
Personal Branding & Vision
- Transitioned from personal to business branding organically, encouraged by my publisher
- Despite a late start in social media, steadily built a platform for my voice and work
- 2026
Goal
Expand my reach into English-speaking audiences by delivering talks in English to share my message globally.
Girl Happen Latina
I lead Girl Happen Latina, a project dedicated to connecting, empowering, and showcasing Latina-led businesses. Our mission: build spaces for collaboration, inspiration, and growth for Latina entrepreneurs to reach their fullest potential.
What’s Next
I’m developing a special initiative focused on empowering children and youth—designed to inspire the next generation to dream big, create with intention, and envision a future full of possibilities.
